Programme Length

Au pairs travel to China on a F-Visa for 6, 9 or 12 months.

Hours and Stipend

As an Au Pair, you may provide childcare and light childcare related housework for your host family and will receive at least 1000 RMB per month depending on the hours and days you work. Hours vary.

Childcare Responsibilities

Au Pairs may have a wide range of responsibilities related to childcare. An Au pair provides busy parents with a much needed “extra set of hands” and duties can include childcare and light housekeeping related to childcare such as doing the children’s laundry and cleaning up after the children.

Au Pair Programme Requirements

• You must be 18 to 27 years old.
• Proficient in English.  (Knowledge of Mandarin or Chinese is not required)
• Have a minimum of 120 hours proven childcare experience.
• In good health.
• Have previous child care experience.
• Have successfully completed and passed our referee and police vetting.
• Have successfully undertaken an interview.
• Be available & willing to commit to a placement of 6, 9 or 12 months

As An Au Pair You Will Receive:

• Welcome Information Pack
• Contact details of other Au Pairs in your area, details of excursions and meet ups

• An Au Pairs Certificate once your assignment has been successfully completed
• Depending on your family, the majority of Au Pairs will have the opportunity to travel with their designated family
