How We Assist You

Nannies on Demand specialises in providing a positive cultural experience based on childcare.  This is a priceless opportunity for your family to experience a successful and enjoyable cultural exchange.

As a member of the International Au Pair Association (IAPA) we only work with reputable and established overseas agencies who are trusted members of the IAPA.  In doing so we are able to offer families Au Pairs who come from France, Germany, Ireland, Austria, Scotland & America.

Our focus is to only place Au Pairs with maturity and enthusiasm who enjoy being around children.  All referred Au Pairs have undertaken a personality test, police check, referee checks, English assessment and an in-depth interview, in assessing their suitability in being an Au Pair.  Our partnered agents ensure each Au Pair signs an agency behaviour contract in line with the IAPA, this is married to our Au Pair Code of Conduct.

We offer personalised service and provide full and continued support during the  90 day guarantee, making regular contact with you & your Au Pair to ensure all is progressing well.  Your Au Pair will be introduced to
other Au Pairs and will have the opportunity to join our Au Pair & Nanny Connection social club.  In addition, they will also be given the opportunity to attend our 'exclusive' Nannies on Demand, ESOL English language courses. Networking is an important part of the Au Pairs placement as it enables them to establish themselves and settle in quickly.

While Nannies on Demand work extremely hard in ensuring placements progress smoothly, even with the best planning and support, occasionally a placement may not work out.

While we work hard to have a supply of Au Pairs all year round, in being prepared, we highly recommend that you approach us two to three months in advance.

As an agency that has a strong focus & emphasis on childhood education we provide the opportunity for families to use our  home-based education service to ensure that your child/ren who are aged five and under who are not enrolled in school, have their educational and developmental needs met.  It also ensures that your Au Pair is supported in knowing how to progress in educating your child/dren.  While this programme is free & is an optional service to parents, it is one that we strongly recommend.   In using our home-based education service, you will also be able to access WINZ  & wage subsidies and 20 hours free ECE  if eligible.  To find out more about how our home based education service can assist your family, please visit our 'Home Based Care' page.
