Costs Involved In Having An Au PairAu Pairs are paid a weekly allowance in addition to receiving full board. The total value of the Au Pair's board & accommodation costs are calculated to determine the true worth of an Au Pair's financial package for tax purposes. While the 'value' of board is determined by the family, Nannies on Demand can assist in providing a guideline. Allowances are as follows: (NZ Rates Only)
Please contact Inland Revenue at www.ird.govt.nz for accurate gross rates. Nannies on Demand do not house an administration wage facility, however all of our Au Pairs have their own IRD number and both family & Au Pair will be provided with the correct IRD forms for tax purposes. Registration is 'Free'
Au Pair placement fees are as follows & come with a 12 week guarantee, with a graduated refund (with the exception of a 3 month placement) should we not be able to find you a replacement Au Pair as set out in our Au Pair placement Terms & Conditions, if the initial placement does not work out:
* 3 month placement $295.00 plus GST (Based on availability. Discount will be given for multiple 3 month placements purchased in a one year period. ++Conditions Apply++) * 6-12 month placement $495.00 plus GST * Premium Placement Fee 6-12 month placement $650.00 plus GST (Includes a one hour personal consultation. Personal consultation component is non-refundable). In purchasing a premium placement you will be assigned a friendly & experienced consultant who will undertake a family assessment. Our consultant will meet you at your home, pay special attention to your family's requirements in ensuring all are taken into consideration during the matching process. This service is of particular benefit to those families who have never had an Au Pair before or for those seeking a more personal approach. Subjects of discussion that families may want to include during their one hour consultation is: meal planning, the educational needs of the child/dren, use of the family's motor vehicle, family rules & expectations, required hours of care. ++ Please note that the premium placement option is currently only available in Auckland & Wellington++ . (We accept payment via all major credit cards, cheque and electronic transfer).
