Costs Involved In Having An Au Pair

Associated costs in having an Au Pair placed through Nannies on Demand.

Au Pairs are considered employees as per NZ law and are paid minimum wage, factoring in accommodation, with rates being reviewed on an annual basis. 

Au Pair allowances are as follows:

Flights, Visa & Insurance costs are the responsibility of the Au Pair.

In appointing a Nannies on Demand Au Pair to your role there are two options in the way in which the Au Pairs PAYE is paid.  You can either become an Employer;  As an Employer, it is your responsibility to see that PAYE is paid to Inland Revenue  (We can assist in directing you how to set this up).  Alternatively you may wish to use our wage administration service for a 'no hassle placement'.  Additional set up costs and weekly fees apply**  

All Nannies on Demand Au Pairs will obtain their own IRD number for tax purposes.

Registration is 'Free'

Au Pair placement fees are as follows & come with a 6 month guarantee if the initial placement does not work out:  **Subject to Terms & Conditions**
 
'Educate Me' Au Pair Programme  - For the under 5's  
3 month placement $300 plus GST

6 month placement $450 plus GST

> 6 months with a maximum term of 12 months $680.00 plus GST  
 
  •  'My Pal' Au Pair Programme - For those with children aged 0+ requiring extra support with household chores or; who do not want to register for the 'Educate Me' Au Pair programe.

 

3 month placement $300 plus GST

6 month placement $450 plus GST

> 6 months with a maximum term of 12 months $680.00 plus GST
